Tabitha’s Hope (TCC Social Services)

Now there was at Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which in Greek means

Dorcas.  She was abounding in good works and acts of charity (Acts 9:36).

 

 

Mission:

  

to serve with excellence the members of Tacoma Christian Center

with access to services, resources, and tools they need in challenging

times to assist them in caring for themselves and their families and to

provide opportunities for non-church members to fellowship with Christians

through regular charitable events so they can experience the love of Jesus

and be encouraged to learn more about God and be saved.

 

Current resources and events:

 

Clothing closet:  Provide an ongoing supply of clothing for men,

 women, and children.

 

 Food bank:  Provide food distribution as requested throughout the

 year and special baskets during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

 

 Win the Neighborhood:  School supply and clothing distribution to

 McKinley Hill area and other families in need of back-to-school assistance.
