Five-Fold Ministry (Preparing God's people for works or service)

Ephesians 4:11-13
¹¹It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, ¹²to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up ¹³until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Apostles: An apostle means a 'sent one', a 'delegate', a 'messenger.' Is an ambassador of the gospel, officially, a commissioner of Christ, with miraculous powers. According to apostle Paul, every apostle has a specific commission and is sent out to do the Father's will.

Prophets: One who speaks events beforehand and interpreter of the divine oracles. It  includes those used by God to reveal the future and interpret revelations.   They declare, unveil, predict, and show forth God's will. He or she announces judgments, possess unique insight into the divine mysteries of God; and warns His people of he consequences of violating God's laws, will, purposes and plans.

Evangelists: They are the administrating executives of everlasting life to the worlds. The evangelist officiates the resurrection and the restorative life brought by Jesus and imparted by the Holy Spirit. The office of the evangelist is the agency of regeneration. Their mandate is to "go and save souls." The evangelist gleans for souls by preaching a distinct message: the message of the Cross, which they know is the Gospel of Salvation, the goodness and the Gospel of Jesus Christ - the Word of Truth.

Pastors: A shepherd: one who tends a flock of sheep. Aside from the pastor being a member of the officials of the church, the pastor is a literal companion to his flock. The pastor becomes their partner in the Christian's life, and a friend  to guide them through their Christian walk. Their chief responsibility is to feed, pasture, guide, tend, and overall care for his flock.  Keeping of the sheep includes ruling, governing, supervising and an  association with the flock. The pastor's authority extends to the presiding officer over the local  congregation. They oversees the management of it affairs and the direction of its activities as a Godly community.  The pastor's officiating involve church sacraments ( baptisms, communion, marriage and funeral)  teaching - especially of the virtues of the Christian faith, its tenets and doctrine and continual impartation of the wisdom of the Lord to His flock

Teachers: Kingdom living is up must in the mind of the teacher. The focus of the teacher is on the wisdom, knowledge and culture from the perspective of the divine Godhead given by revelation. The teacher desires  reverence and enlightened response to God's unction's, will, purposes, plans and needs.
