Everyday

Hello Everyone,

Glad you stopped by to read my post.  Each day is an opportunity to be a witness for Christ.  Not by our words but by the way we live our life. So much compromise is around us. What we do now has a direct effect on what we have when we go home.  I’m not talking about salvation, that is a free gift that we can’t work to earn it.  Ephesians 2:8-9  (The Voice)  8-9 For it’s by God’s grace that you have been saved. You receive it through faith. It was not our plan or our effort. It is God’s gift, pure and simple. You didn’t earn it, not one of us did, so don’t go around bragging that you must have done something amazing.

Living for Jesus the best we know how, is what we are supposed to do.  We are not perfect and God honors our heart. So work for Him out of a pure heart so that when those works are tested they will stand.  1Corinthians 3:12-15 (The Living Bible)  12 But there are various kinds of materials that can be used to build on that foundation. Some use gold and silver and jewels; and some build with sticks and hay or even straw! 13 There is going to come a time of testing at Christ’s Judgment Day to see what kind of material each builder has used. Everyone’s work will be put through the fire so that all can see whether or not it keeps its value, and what was really accomplished. 14 Then every workman who has built on the foundation with the right materials, and whose work still stands, will get his pay. 15 But if the house he has built burns up, he will have a great loss. He himself will be saved, but like a man escaping through a wall of flames.

Finally don’t do things for you to get the glory that is a waste of time.  But everyday remind yourself, I’m going to work for Jesus and watch Him bless your efforts. Matthew 6:19-21 (The Living Bible) 19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth where they can erode away or may be stolen. 20 Store them in heaven where they will never lose their value and are safe from thieves. 21 If your profits are in heaven, your heart will be there too.

My challenge to all of who read this, remind yourself each morning “Im going to work for Jesus today”

In the Army with You!
