There is a famous quote, If you don’t like the situation you are in change it or change the way you think about it. This quote has brought me much piece and contentment with God’s help.
Being content with whatever God ask you to do or not do will bring you great peace. Why because we can do all things through Christ and if HE ask it of us HE will make a way where there is no way and we can then be content and at peace with our situation.
Paul puts it plain in Philippians 4:11-13
11 Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to get along happily whether I have much or little. 12 I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of contentment in every situation, whether it be a full stomach or hunger, plenty or want; 13 for I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power.
So when your situation becomes an opportunity for finding a “creative way to change your attitude” Remember God can give you whatever you need to be content in an otherwise difficult situation.
